Navika 5th Worlds Kannada Summit 2019 Business Forum is organized by Indian American International Chamber of Commerce (IAICC) and NAVIKA on August 30th, at Duke Energy Convention Center, Cincinnati, Ohio. IAICC is an umbrella organization that provides a sustainable platform and leadership forum for businesses in US and India, to Promote and foster Indian American economic development for the benefit of the United States of America and the Republic of India. IAICC has taken the leadership role through their advocacy programs in helping the policy makers develop policies of the governments at the local, state & federal levels in the United States. IAICC works with governments, businesses and professionals to develop entrepreneurship and commerce through mentor -protégé programs, training, seminars and networking opportunities. IAICC acts as a catalyst to establish strategic alliances between businesses in the United States and India and to strengthen business and economic engagements between the two countries. IAICC national assists regional/state chapters through connecting the states with national leadership and advocacy. Indian American Owned and other businesses in India and the United States can benefit from IAICC. In continuation of this effort, this year we plan to have a business summit in Cincinnati, Ohio. The purpose of this business summit is to provide a platform to discuss business opportunities of entrepreneurs. In addition to Key note address, there will be three panel discussions on business and franchising opportunities. An innovation challenge is also organized for entrepreneurs in collaboration with angel investors and venture capital community.

United States Announces Deal with Canada and Mexico to Lift Retaliatory Tariffs

Washington, DC –Today, the United States announced an agreement with Canada and Mexico to remove the Section 232 tariffs for steel and aluminum imports from those countries and for the removal of all retaliatory tariffs imposed on American goods by those countries.

The United States Signs a Stronger Trade Agreement with Mexico and Canada

United States joined Canada and Mexico in Argentina to sign a new trade agreement that will better serve the interests of American workers and businesses. This follows the President’s announcement in October that a deal had been reached.The new United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA) will replace the outdated, North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). With the signing of this agreement, President Trump has delivered on his promise to renegotiate NAFTA and protect American farmers, ranchers, businesses, and workers.

5G INITIATIVE

“America is now leading the global race to deploy secure and reliable 5G.”

The White House announced President Trump’s 5G Initiative brings $275 Billion investments to deploy 5G Networks creating 3 Million New Jobs, adding $500 Billion to US economy. It’s important for U.S. be in front of the global race for 5G and will hasten the private sector deployment of broadband and put US ahead.

IAICC congratulates the President and FCC for pursuing the additional spectrum of technologically neutral funding for private sector initiatives in rural broadband through 5G infrastructure. This could amount to more than $75 Billion per year in rural business and more than $10 trillion worth of goods & services over the next 15 to 20 years.
