Dr. Ken Bajaj was the President of DMI until 2021. He joined the company in 2009 and helped lead its transformation into a global business and the largest pure-play provider of mobility and digital services to commercial and government enterprises worldwide. Ken brings a longstanding track-record of introducing transformational services and solutions to market. 

Prior to joining DMI, Ken founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of DigitalNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: DNET), a pioneer in providing cybersecurity solutions to the U.S. Government. DigitalNet was a portfolio company of GTCR, LLP and was purchased by BAE Systems in 2004. 

Prior to DigitalNet, Ken founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of AppNet Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: APNT). AppNet was one of the first integrated e-business services companies, founded in 1997. It grew to become the fourth largest interactive media services company in the U.S. after just 3 years receiving recognition from Advertising Age and Internet World for being one of the most successful companies of its type at the time. AppNet was a portfolio company of GTCR, LLP and was purchased by CommerceOne in 2000. 

Prior to AppNet, Ken was the President of I-Net, an early leader in providing managed network services to commercial and government businesses. He led the company’s growth and development in partnership with Goldman Sachs. I-Net was purchased by Wang Laboratories in 1996. 

Prior to I-Net, Ken was one of the founders of Perot Systems. Prior to Perot Systems, he was a senior executive of EDS and was responsible for the company’s largest outsourcing contract with the U.S. Government, as well as introducing the nation’s first factory automation program in the automotive industry to General Motors. 

Ken received his Ph.D. in Systems Science from Michigan State University, his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto, and his BS in Electrical Engineering from Punjab University in India.
