Alka Bhave is a distinguished technology executive and thought leader with over two decades of experience driving innovation, excellence, and digital transformation across the government and commercial sectors. She currently serves as a President at Fearless Solutions, LLC, where she leads high-impact digital engineering efforts to solve complex challenges for mission-critical organizations.

Alka is a change agent at heart. She’s passionate about solving deep problems for customers, and she looks at the entire value stream to help them address big challenges and improve efficiencies. With over two decades of experience in systems engineering, IT integration, and program and project management, she understands how to drive holistic transformation.

Before joining Fearless, Alka held executive roles at leading defense and technology companies, including Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Riverside Research, a nonprofit organization that advances scientific research in the interest of national security. As COO, Alka managed the company’s corporate operations, leading transformation in infrastructure, processes, and culture to position the company for growth. Prior to Riverside, Alka was Vice President of Performance Excellence at Perspecta (now Peraton). In that capacity, she was instrumental in developing and executing enterprise-wide strategies to improve performance, quality, and operational efficiency. Her expertise spans systems engineering, program management, and complex space and ground system development, with a track record of delivering results on high-stakes projects. 

Throughout her career, Alka has worked on the design, development, and deployment of complex space, ground, and IT systems for numerous government agencies. She’s served customers in the intelligence community and Department of Defense (DoD), as well as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  

Alka holds both a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is deeply committed to K-12 STEM initiatives and building inclusive and diverse talent pipelines in tech to drive innovation.  

In addition to her executive roles, she contributes to academia and community development through board service, including serving as Advisory Board member for Northern Virginia Science Center, and prior roles on the Executive Leadership Team for March of Dimes Heroines of Washington, Board of Visitors for the University of Maryland’s College of Engineering Materials Science and Engineering and Missouri State University’s Customer Experience Program. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, SAFe Agilist, and PMI PMP. With a reputation for visionary leadership, sound technical acumen, and a passion for impactful transformation, Alka Bhave continues to be a driving force in reshaping the future of digital government and public service.
